The house

Ailyak Seri sits along a gentle river below Jibhi, in green, with the sound of the water in every room. The fresh air and the river do most of the work.

Private rooms are themed, with wooden interiors, large windows on the pine ridges, balconies and deep bedding; the starlit attic room is the one under the roof. The Starlit dorm has a see-through roof for the night sky. Every bed has a reading light; the washrooms are clean; the balconies are wide.

From the door

The riverside walk starts at the gate; the trails and the clear pools along the bank are minutes away. Mornings can be yoga by the river; evenings are the fire.
